My Story
Welcome and thank you for reading my story.. My story may be a little different than others but that's ok, every single one of us has our own story. I became a consultant on December 25th, 2011 after trying the product and falling in love. The first scent that I had the pleasure of trying out was perfectly pomegranate and today it's still one of my favorites. I joined under a friend who shortly after my joining stepped away from Scentsy. I was left alone and didn't do much with my business because I wasn't sure who to reach out to. In 2015, after becoming a Lead Consultant, I decided that maybe Scentsy wasn't for me and I took some time off. Worst and best decision ever. Worst because I should've just kept on pushing or utilized all the FREE training that is available on the workstation or reached out to the sponsor whom I was assigned after mine stepped out, but I didn't. Instead I waited.. After a few months I realized that I really missed having the products in my home. Scentsy not only offers warmers and wax (over 80 different scents in addition to monthly scents and holiday scents) also offered are laundry care products, cleaning products, body products, a kids line and so much more. In April 2016 I posted on FB that I was in search of a friend who might still sell Scentsy so that I could request to have them as my sponsor. Much to my surprise I had a friend say something along the lines of "I was a consultant and my sponsor was amazing, I'm sure she would love to have you". I was ecstatic and scared, this person was a DIRECTOR! This was so scary.. I thought, "oh my goodness a director". Within minutes she was messaging me and it was a blessing. Although, I had someone at home not super thrilled with the idea of me trying to sell Scentsy again I had to prove to this person that this time I would succeed. In April 2016 (the same month I reinstated) I promoted from Certified to SuperStar Consultant and had 3 recruits!!! By January 2017 we were a team of 20!! I was finally on the right path and in January attended my first Scentsy event AND earned a trip of my choice to either Punta Cana or Kansas City, MO for Scentsy Family Reunion. After thinking long and hard (they both sounded AMAZING) I chose Kansas City, MO! BEST DECISION EVER.. It is so amazing what can happen when you are cared for and led by your sponsor!! Scentsy is truly an incredible company to be part of and I now realize that it's a family and I should've reached out before I took a break. I would LOVE to share more of my story with you and have you as part of my Scentsy family!
